Hi! I'm Mr. Dominic Buttino, creator of the Math Lounge. I am well aware that you have many options for math help for your teen. Here are just a few of the reasons why The Math Lounge is the clear choice for your teen:

We are small: With large tutoring companies, you have no idea who you're getting and what their credentials are. You are merely a number and they often couldn't care less about your child's progress. As we are a newer business, your teen's success is our number one priority. A success for you teen is our success. We have flexibility to customize plans and give your teen specialized attention. We may even be able to provide 1:1 tutoring and mentorship for your teen.

We are professional: Smaller tutors are often unreliable. They don't have an organized structure or systems in place to efficiently provide everything your teen needs. They may frequently cancel or reschedule appointments, and you never know if you're getting what you pay for.

We're experts: Mr. Buttino completed Calculus 1-3 and college Linear Algebra while in high school. He graduated with his B.S. from SUNY Buffalo in only two years time, and began working as an actuarial analyst at the age of 20. He passed the rigorous Probability, Financial Mathematics, and Models for Financial Economics exams required to be an actuarial analyst. He eventually left the corporate world to pursue the calling of math education, now maximizing his reach by sharing everything he's learned with you and your teens.

We care: We're in the business of reducing anxiety for families and getting students ahead in their math ability. We are not in the "package selling" or "course selling" business. If we can provide a plan for your teen to improve their math skills, we will offer that. If not, we will wish you the best and go on our separate ways. Above all else, we want your teen to learn to love math and excel.
